I have been thinking of moving for a few months & in typical “Chantal Fashion” I have been thinking about decorating the areas in my home before figuring out where I will be moving! To be honest, I probably will not move until closer to the summer but I love picturing how my new place will unfold.

Sorry!!! - Advent Review Delay

I really overestimated myself with the review of each beauty product! I am not going back on my word, I will provide you a review of all my little deluxe goodies but it will NOT be on the days I promised. I forgot what a busy time of the year this is and totally did not take into account the fact that I seem to always get sick right around now. This project will carry into the new year, but it will happen.
I love anyone who has ever read my blog and I hope this doesn’t deter you from reading again!

Beauty Obsessions: Benefit & Ciate Advent Calendars 2013 Days 1 – 6

This year I was spoiled with 2 beauty advent calendars! I was gifted the Benefit Countdown to Love  and the Ciate Mini Mani Month.  I, of course, had to document & rate the products for you! I will be rating the products out of 5. I will also let you know if I would purchase or recommend the purchase of a full-size product.

December Wish List

Happy December!!! Oh my goodness I am so incredibly excited for Christmas and all things jolly. I think these clothes would make my season merry!
Let’s get right into my Wish List, this Winter I am really feeling felt hats and this Maison Michael Virgine hat is right up my alley (although wayyyyy too expensive for my pocketbook). It may be a little too “matchy matchy” but I would pair the hat with the Pull & Bear Check print coat (which is very affordably priced at $105!). 

Beauty Obsessions: Gel Nail Polish

Ermahgerd! I am absolutely obsessed with gel nail polish.  My nail technician suggested it 4 manicures ago and I am never going back to regular nail polish (well I somewhat am; & I will describe how in a minute!) Gel nail polish is amazing because it strengthens your nails and acts a protective covering from breakage and snags.

November Wish List:Luxe Edition

As I mentioned in my November Wish List I made a Luxe Edition for the month of November. I noticed that my Luxe Wish List has many more “classic” items; I guess subconsciously I will only spend lots of money (virtual or real) on pieces that will last me forever.

November Wish List

Happy November!

I have never really been a big fan of November; it is safe to say it is my least favourite month.  I am sure if I celebrated American Thanksgiving I would love November but to me it’s simply the month I get to go to the Santa Claus Parade.

Nonetheless, here are my November picks!  To kick off my new monthly feature on Elizabeth et Estelle I chose to make 2 November Wish Lists. I am so excited for the start of my new blog, I feel like confessions of a twenty something was a great learning platform and allowed me to see exactly which direction I wanted my blog to go. With Confessions I tried to put my hand in writing about everything rather than focusing on a few key themes.  

The timing of this new blog could not be any more perfect!  To me autumn has always seemed more like the start of a new year than winter. Plus I adore the fashion and makeup trends that come with the colder months.
